MS 65 is a one-component, solvent-free, neutral-cure Silane based sealant which does not emit unpleasant odors, available in the form of a thixotropic paste. It is easy to apply on vertical and horizontal surfaces and cures at room temperature through the humidity present in the air to form a flexible sealant. Seals are extremely stable over time, even when exposed to different weather condition, industrial environments, and temperature changes. The product remains flexible between -40°C and +150°C.
Product Description
Field of Application
MS 65 is used to make watertight seals in joints and gaps between similar and different types of building materials, including those permanently exposed to damp conditions. Once polymerization has taken place, it forms a perfect, flexible seal which adheres well to glass, ceramic and painted metal surfaces and is highly resistant to the formation of surface mould.
It is used for sealing expansion and distribution joints, subject to movements up to 25% in:
· façades on civil and Industrial buildings;
· pre-fabricated concrete panels;
· concrete walls and in general, internal and external vertical structures

Application Procedure
Preparation of substrate
Surfaces to be sealed must be dry, de-greased, solid and free of dust, loose parts, oil, grease, wax, old paintwork and rust on metal surfaces. We recommend applying masking tape along the edges of the joint in order to avoid the sealant seeping out of the joint and to get a more attractive finish.
Preparing the product
Ready to be used.
Applying the product
Insert the cartridge in an extrusion gun, cut off the tip of the cartridge, screw on the extrusion nozzle, trim the nozzle at an angle of 45° and according to the extruded width required and squeeze out the product in a continuous flow into the joint while trying to avoid air entering the joint. Immediately after applying the sealant, smooth over the surface before it hardens with a spatula wetted with soap and water. Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing over the sealant
