Primer PU Top is a two component solvent base primer used for polyurea waterproofing membranes. The primer is used as consolidating and adhesion promoter of the waterproofing material.

COVERAGE / CONSUMPTION
The consumption of PRIMER PU TOP depends on the porosity and absorption of the surface. Typical consumption is between 100 and 200 gr/m².
Application Procedure
Preparation of substrate
The substrate should be dry, clean, and free from grease, oils, residual paint, and other loose material. Cracks in concrete surfaces must be repaired with Epo Inject.
Preparing the product
Primer PU Top is a polyurethane primer made up of two predosed components. To prepare the product, mix each of the two components for a few minutes and then pour component B into the container of component A. Mix the two components together with an electric mixer at low-speed to thoroughly blend them together, at least 3-4 minutes.
Applying the product
Apply an coat of Primer PU Top with a brush, roller or by spray. When used as an adhesion promoter for polyurethane finishing products, apply the finish approximately 8 hours after the primer. When used as an adhesion promoter on bitumen membranes, apply the waterproofing membrane 2-4 hours after the primer. When used as an adhesion promoter for bitumen membranes, apply the cementitious mortar approximately 2 hours after applying Primer PU Top.
